Today I think about our veterans.
...I think about what they experienced, what they suffered... what they gave.
Today I think about the fallen.
...Our Heroes who gave it all... Who paid the ultimate sacrifice.
Today I think about the deployed.
...What they're experiencing, what they're giving up... The losses they know.
Today I think about the sweethearts.
...The strong ones who stay home and wait and pray for the safe return of their beloved.
Today I think about the children.
...So proud. So patriotic... Trying to understand the long goodbyes.
Today I thank God for our service men and women. Tomorrow I will too.
